My $4.99 table...

| This is what the top looked like Before we did any work to it. I did not get a picture of it on the base before we started to attack it...darn it! You can see whoever owned it prior had started to paint it. The base is black and scuffed in a few spots and perfect for the look I wanted so nothing was done to the base! |

I found this little table at the thrift store a couple months back and as soon as I spotted it I knew it was the perfect size and shape for our family room. All it needed was a little T.L.C! I had no idea how I wanted to re-do the top I just put some random colors of acrylic paint on it until I got the tones & colors that appealed to me...no rhyme or reason just went with the flow and the flow ended up like this! I love how it turned out.

I attacked my lampshade...
It's 10:00 am on this Beautiful Friday morning girls are at school (me) I am thinking about my plain white lampshade??!! There are a million other things I should be doing or thinking about not my bedroom lampshade....by 10:30 am I have attacked & finished this random idea of painting my boring white (yawn) lampshade! Pictures being uploaded in a couple of minutes!

Mantle mirror getting a new look...

| While I was outside painting the mirror (about an hr ago) for above the mantle I was so taken back by how beautiful the trees looked way above me in the mirrors reflection. You can see the teeny tiny buds sprouting and the bright blue sky. This made me stop and enjoy the beauty right in front of me.....the reflection took my breath away! |

Let the sickies leave...
I am so behind on my posts. I can honestly say our family has never been so sick for so long as of the past couple of months! Its the craziest thing...it just won't leave. Its one thing when it happens to you, when it happens to the little ones and they look at you with those eyes it just kills you! Definitely looking forward to Spring where we can leave all the sickies behind us!

| After! I found this little guy out thrifting awhile back for .69! I know someone made this in 1982 that's what the bottom of it says along with the name of the person who painted it. Thirty years later it finds a new home with a fresh new look. I was going to paint it white at first glad I stepped outside my norm to paint him this fun metallic silver. I love how it turned out. |

One month...

| This is what she looked like *BEFORE* looks like someone else had done a little makeover on her. Only to come home with me to get another! Had my daughter still have this color scheme I may have just kept it this color (would have gotten rid of the brass} just can't do brass! I already had the black paint used for this project this only cost me $1.99 to make! Not bad for a wooden wall clock! |

| Here it is *AFTER* I love what a little paint can do! Who would have thought it was the same Tic-Toc little clock! Next time you see something that catches your eye don't disregard it so fast! Paint is your best friend in DIY crafty re-dos! |

Jewelry box re-do...

| All sanded & ready for some primer. |

| All primed (no laughing at my fancy spray booth)! |

| First coat of watered down paint (I used black) just rubbed it on with an old washcloth! I did 3 light coats! |

| Then after all was dry I put a coat of min-wax on it. |
 |

| Lets not forget what she looked like before her face-lift! |

| Now look at her, she is so cute I could just hug her! : ) |
