Here is a little peek at a couple paintings that will be going up for sale on my Etsy Store. I have had an Etsy account for years just have not put one thing on it! Here is to a new start on adding some fun things to my store. ** I will be be adding all my info to my store here soon. I just want to finish up the rest of my paintings before I do**  I will also be taking custom orders if anyone is interested.

My $4.99 table...

This is what the top looked like Before we did any work to it. I did not get a picture of it on the base before we started to attack it...darn it! You can see whoever owned it prior had started to paint it. The base is black and scuffed in a few spots and perfect for the look I wanted so nothing was done to the base!

I found this little table at the thrift store a couple months back and as soon as I spotted it I knew it was the perfect size and shape for our family room. All it needed was a little T.L.C! I had no idea how I wanted to re-do the top I just put some random colors of acrylic paint on it until I got the tones & colors that appealed to me...no rhyme or reason just went with the flow and the flow ended up like this! I love how it turned out.

Before & After lampshade...

While watching the news this morning my mind was on other things! Like painting this white boring lampshade...so out came the paints and this is what she looks like now! ; )

I attacked my lampshade...

It's 10:00 am on this Beautiful Friday morning girls are at school (me) I am thinking about my plain white lampshade??!! There are a million other things I should be doing or thinking about not my bedroom lampshade....by 10:30 am I have attacked & finished this random idea of painting my boring white (yawn) lampshade! Pictures being uploaded in a couple of minutes!

Mantle mirror getting a new look...

While I was outside painting the mirror (about an hr ago) for above the mantle I was so taken back by how beautiful the trees looked way above me in the mirrors reflection. You can see the teeny tiny buds sprouting and the bright blue sky. This made me stop and enjoy the beauty right in front of me.....the reflection took my breath away!  

Trunk chest makeover...

Some dry brushing & some stenciling (613 is a badge number to someone special in our lives).

A place to put all those lap blankets (there is even some in the very bottom of this trunk) holds more than I thought . So much better than on the back of the couch. One more project completed!

Simply beautiful...

I received this beautiful orchid for my birthday a couple weeks ago. I love how the sun is setting and casting such a warm glow around this plant! 

Let the sickies leave...

I am so behind on my posts. I can honestly say our family has never been so sick for so long as of the past couple of months! Its the craziest thing...it just won't leave. Its one thing when it happens to you, when it happens to the little ones and they look at you with those eyes it just kills you! Definitely looking forward to Spring where we can leave all the sickies behind us!

I found this little guy out thrifting awhile back for .69! I know someone made this in 1982 that's what the bottom of it says along with the name of the person who painted it. Thirty years later it finds a new home with a fresh new look. I was going to paint it white at first glad I stepped outside my norm to paint him this  fun metallic silver. I love how it turned out.

I have been wanting to makeover this waste basket forever. So glad it was warm enough to go outside & sand this baby and put a coat of primer on it. This waste basket is going to have an ultimate makeover...as you can see just a little primer goes a long ways! Finished basket coming soon!

I have some fun plans for this little chest that has been sitting in my garage for the last couple of years just collecting dust bunnies. Hopefully, I will have this finished by Sunday with the after pics to share with all of you. Goodbye, flowers!

A beautiful bathroom makeover BEFORE & AFTER pics

This is what the bathroom looked like before the great remodel got started. Typical older home bath with lots of tile. 

Is this not the cutest bathroom. I love it! I know a lot of hard work and many, many hours went into this bathroom  makeover. I want to say a big thank you to my friends Hugh & Karla for letting me share this with all of you. Before I forget, this is Hugh's very first remodel....hello! Job well done! I know if this was my bathroom every time I walked in or by it would make me smile. You may just want to scroll back up & take another peek at the before...

One month...

Tic-Toc....I made over a wall clock!

This is what she looked like *BEFORE* looks like someone else had done a little makeover on her. Only to come home with me to get another! Had my daughter still have this color scheme I may have just kept it this color (would have gotten rid of the brass} just can't do brass! I already had the black paint used for this project this only cost me $1.99 to make! Not bad for a wooden wall clock!

Here it is *AFTER* I love what a little paint can do! Who would have thought it was the same Tic-Toc little clock! Next time you see something that catches your eye don't disregard it so fast! Paint is your best friend in DIY crafty re-dos!

This shelly thingy add on needed to go (off it went)!

Time for lots of sand paper & sanding!  

All sanded & ready for some primer.

All primed (no laughing at my fancy spray booth)! 

First coat of watered down paint (I used black) just rubbed it on with an old washcloth! I did 3 light coats! 

Then after all was dry I put a coat of min-wax on it.

Loving it!

Lets not forget what she looked like before her face-lift!

Now look at her, she is so cute I could just hug her! : )
