Girls loved their snack tonight...

Instead of a plain apple for the girls' snack tonight. I put a scoop of peanut butter & nutella in the middle of an apple and what did we get? A cute little flower blossom! The girls squealed with delight when they saw it!

My next creation? Oh, what can it be?

It was so nice outside I was able to sand away on this little guy! I even worked up a sweat! Not bad for January in Michigan! Now all I need to do is figure out what color I should use. Such big decisions! Hard to believe...just yesterday we were sledding! Glad we let the girls skip school for fun in the *snow* we knew it was not going to last! Gotta take in those snow days when you can! I will post some pictures from our fun day!

              All you need to do is mix = amounts of white glue & shaving creme! For a fluffy fun project!

Frame makeover...

    Never-mind the letters in the after picture. I will be adding some different ones (just wanted you to get a    

    feel for what I have in mind)! What a big difference a  little paint can do.  

Just an old ordinary horse turns into this...

What a big difference from the before picture. For Christmas this year the girls asked for lots of horse stuff. Then I remembered this humongous wooden horse (it goes up to their chins they are 8 & 6) it really is big! I had bought a few yrs back was just being stored in the garage. I pulled it out and was not sure where to even begin. It was in such bad shape. With lots of pre-painting prep work and some black paint I believe it turned out pretty darn good. This horse is LOVED on daily by the girls! They even put hats & scarves on it.

Cute little stools...

     Some stools I found out thrifting that I brought home and gave a good old makeover on. Which included
     sanding, painting, new padding and some cute fabric found at Hobby Lobby.

           My shelf came from a thrift store & the cute painting idea came from pinterest! Out came the paint          
           and brushes and away I painted. It's not perfect, the girls love it, and that's all that matters!

Rainy & dreary outside...

But not in this little head of mine. I can see lots of good things coming very soon to this very site. NO dreary rainy days will stop my little head from coming up with wonderful ideas. I have a bag of goodies still in my trunk (oh, wonderful thrift store finds) that have been patiently waiting for me to come get them. One problem, my boyfriend thinks it's clutter so right now it's safe-n-sound in the trunk. Promise not to laugh at me...a couple of times I had to go peek on my treasures in the trunk (you know, just to make sure all was well) nothing was touched! Phew!

Projects

I can not wait to share some of my before & after pictures of my latest and greatest stuff! I am just getting started and don't have much on here yet. I promise you it will start filling up fast. Who don't love before & after pics (one of my favs)! I absolutely love seeing something totally transform into something unique!
